Terms and conditions
Last updated 7 November 2026
These terms apply when you play Tapheim, use this website, or buy Sovereigns. They are an agreement between you and [Company name AS] (“we”). By playing the game or buying Sovereigns you accept them. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
1. Who we are
[Company name AS], org. no. [000 000 000], [Street 1, 0000 Oslo, Norway]. Email: support@tapheim.com.
2. Your account
Tapheim is free to play. The game creates an account for you the first time you open it. You can link that account to this website with a code from the game's settings, and attach an email so you can sign in again later.
You must be at least 13 to play, and anyone under 18 needs a parent's or guardian's permission to buy Sovereigns. Keep your device and email secure: anyone who can open them can use your account. One account is for one person, and accounts may not be sold, shared or transferred.
3. Sovereigns
Sovereigns are the game's paid currency. When you buy them, you buy a personal, non-transferable right to use them in Tapheim. They are not money, have no value outside the game, and cannot be exchanged back into money, transferred to another player, or sold, except where these terms or the law say otherwise.
Sovereigns are held on our servers, in your account. They are sold only on this website; Sovereigns bought from anyone else are bought in breach of these terms and may be removed. What you spend them on in the game is delivered at once and cannot be exchanged.
4. Buying Sovereigns
- Price. The price is shown at checkout before you pay, in US dollars, as the total you will be charged, including any taxes we must charge. Your bank may add its own fee for paying in a foreign currency.
- Payment. You pay on the secure page of our payment provider, WhiteGallo. We never see your card details.
- The agreement. Your purchase is agreed when the payment is confirmed. We may refuse an order, for example if the payment looks fraudulent; you are then not charged, or are refunded in full.
- Delivery. The Sovereigns are added to your account as soon as the payment settles, usually within seconds, and a receipt is sent to your email. If they have not arrived within 24 hours, write to support@tapheim.com with your order number.
5. Right of withdrawal
Under the Norwegian Cancellation Act (angrerettloven) you would normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. For digital content that is not delivered on a physical medium, that right ends once delivery has started, if you have expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal (angrerettloven § 22 letter n).
Sovereigns are delivered the moment your payment settles, so at checkout we ask you to agree to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is then lost. Your receipt confirms that agreement.
This does not affect your rights if something is wrong. If Sovereigns you paid for do not arrive, or do not work as described, you have the rights the Digital Services Act (digitalytelsesloven) gives you: write to us and we will deliver them, put it right, or refund you. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and the refunded Sovereigns are taken off your account.
6. Fair play
Leaderboards and clans only mean something if everyone plays the same game. You may not:
- use cheats, bots, macros, auto-clickers or other software that plays or taps for you, or modify the game, its files or its saves;
- exploit bugs to gain an advantage (please report them to us instead);
- reverse-engineer, decompile or interfere with the game or our servers, except as far as the law allows despite this term;
- choose a display name or clan name that is offensive, impersonates someone, or infringes someone else's rights;
- sell, buy or trade accounts or Sovereigns, or offer to do so.
7. If these terms are broken
We may rename an offensive display or clan name, remove progress, rewards or Sovereigns gained by cheating or by a payment that was reversed, and, for serious or repeated breaches, suspend or close the account. We will tell you what we did and why, and you can write to us if you think we got it wrong. Sovereigns removed for a breach are not refunded.
8. Our content
The game, its art, music, text, names and code belong to us or to those who license them to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to play Tapheim for your own non-commercial use. Everything else is reserved.
9. The game will change
Tapheim is a live game. We will keep changing it: balancing heroes and boons, adding and removing content, and changing what things cost in the game. Parts of it may sometimes be unavailable, for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, though the game itself plays offline.
If we ever close the game, we will say so in the game and on this site at least 60 days before, and stop selling Sovereigns from the day we announce it. Your rights under consumer law for Sovereigns you have paid for are not affected.
10. Liability
We work to keep the game running and your progress safe, but the game is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, or our liability for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop playing at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to us. Deleting an account deletes its progress and any unspent Sovereigns, which are not refunded except where the law requires it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when the game gains new features or the law changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. We will tell you about changes that matter at least 30 days before they take effect, in the game or by email. If you do not accept them, you can stop playing and ask us to delete your account. A purchase is always governed by the terms in force when you made it.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If something goes wrong, write to support@tapheim.com first; most things can be fixed quickly.
If we cannot agree, you can ask Forbrukerrådet, the Norwegian Consumer Council, to mediate, and take the case on to the Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget). As a consumer you can also bring a case before the courts where you live. If you live elsewhere in the EEA, the mandatory consumer protections of your own country also apply.
